Altea expands underwriting team with appointment of Chloe Archer

LONDON, 14 JANUARY 2026 – Altea Insurance (Altea), the multi-class managing general agent specialising in the healthcare and medical sectors, has appointed Chloe Archer as an underwriter. She will be based in London and will report directly to Carly Matson, CEO.

Carly Matson, CEO of Altea said: “We are delighted to welcome Chloe to Altea. Her strong technical insight and trusted broker relationships will help ensure brokers continue to receive the high level of service they have come to expect from Altea.

“Chloe’s knowledge of the healthcare sector will enhance the team’s capability across the portfolio. Her expertise will also support our commitment to providing bespoke, reliable coverage and the high-quality, long-term capacity our clients value.”

Chloe joins Altea with over eight years of insurance industry experience and a background spanning underwriting and broking, including private client and delegated authority business. She most recently joins from CFC Underwriting, where she specialised in UK & International Healthcare. She was part of the New Generation Project at the Chartered Insurance Institute and has also previously worked at Howden and Hiscox.
